Network Design and Support Engineer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a mid to senior-level Network Design and Support Engineer with expertise in enterprise networking design and support. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-level networking solutions, including switching, routing, and WAN architectures. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of networking protocols, infrastructure automation, and daily operational support for enterprise networks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage enterprise networking solutions, including LAN, WAN, routing, and switching.
- Provide daily operational support for enterprise network infrastructure, troubleshooting and resolving complex network issues.
- Monitor, analyze, and optimize network performance, security, and reliability.
- Assist in WAN architecture design, ensuring high availability and scalability.
- Automate network configurations and deployments using scripting or network automation tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network solutions with cloud and on-premise environments.
- Document network designs, best practices, and standard operating procedures.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong experience with enterprise networking design and support.
- Expertise in routing and switching (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, QoS, STP, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with WAN design, optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of network security best practices and technologies (firewall, VPNs, IDS/IPS).
- Experience with network automation and scripting (Pythong, Ansible, etc.) is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, JNCIP, or equivalent) are highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SD-WAN technologies.
- Familiarity with network monitoring and analysis tools.
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments.
