In a continuous effort to contribute to the welfare of Salvadoran society, SoftwareCraft will be one of the sponsors of the “Night To Shine” event as part of its social impact strategy, called SocialCrafting.

This extraordinary gala, organized by Tim Tebow Foundation, Joni and Friends Center on Disability (ICD), and Fundación Venciendo Barreras, will take place on February 9 at 5 pm at the Club Deportivo Internacional in San Salvador.

What is SoftwareCraft’s contribution?

On this special occasion, SoftwareCraft is proud to support the participation of 20 low-income and disabled children, allowing them to enjoy a unique experience. The donation covers the participation card of these youngsters, including food, beverages, costume items, and more.

This initiative responds to SoftwareCraft’s conviction to be an agent of positive change in the Salvadoran community. By sponsoring the participation of these children, the company seeks to provide them with moments of joy and fun, as well as the opportunity to socialize with other children in a festive and welcoming environment.

In addition to the financial contribution, some of our employees and partners will participate as volunteers during the event. These volunteers will be in charge of taking care of children and youth with disabilities, ensuring that they enjoy the Night To Shine experience to the fullest.

The gala promises to be a night full of excitement and joy, with activities that will include face painting, music, delicious food, games, dancing, and many other surprises.

SoftwareCraft’s vision is to go beyond simply being a sponsor. “Our commitment to social responsibility does not stop here. We hope to continue collaborating with different initiatives of Fundación Venciendo Barreras and other similar organizations. In addition, we could promote training programs for young people with motor disabilities, giving them the opportunity to become successful professionals, such as engineers or programmers,” said Carolina Moreira, SoftwareCraft’s representative in El Salvador.

“SoftwareCraft sees this collaboration as the beginning of a long-term relationship. Through initiatives such as Night To Shine, the company seeks to generate economic and social value in Central America, demonstrating that commitment to the community is an integral part of our business mission,” concluded our CEO, Albert Paredes.

What is SocialCrafting and why is it investing in El Salvador?

SocialCrafting is SoftwareCraft’s social impact program that includes 5 pillars:

1- Employability and professional development (especially of systems engineers and other technology experts) thanks to the opening of jobs with good conditions and competitive salary.

2- Social mobility and fight against poverty through formal and quality employment opportunities, and with alliances such as the one we signed with the Kodigo program, an Academy of Creative Technology and Social Entrepreneurship in El Salvador.

3- Inclusion and gender, as our recruitment processes guarantee equal opportunities for men and women, and we support initiatives that combat discrimination.

4- Financial education for engineering professionals, sponsoring face-to-face and virtual workshops for software engineers in alliance with experts in personal finance, wealth and investments.

5- Strategic alliances and investment attraction, thanks to our participation in Global Chamber and other chambers and organizations for networking, exporting services, and generating new business.
